To catch a faster train

got me on my bike again on a morning cycle of 4 miles towards the station on the Wimbledon branch, that gets me to Waterloo in just over 30 mins.
The ride itself took 30 mins, if it weren't for the 'roadblock' via a level crossing ( if I was minutes faster, I could've joined the train to change for the faster connection to Waterloo!) , a busy roundabout, and getting lost in finding the entrance to the station!
It was great to be cycling in the morning, in light mist, feeling the fresh air, climbing unexpected hills and overtaking cyclists doing the same safely (always proud on a brompton)!
I've always find it interesting to explore different options of travel, to make the commute more economical , or faster, or scenic. On foot, by train (combining with a bike ride or not)

Google traffic to beat congestion and getting there in the comforts of a car cannot beat feeling the fresh air on dry days!

A rare visit to the gym via this magical gateway (to more frequent buses!) got me to a Body Attack class where the planks and running sections were the most enjoyable of all.

This followed by an experience on a new ellipitcal machine that to some, is only a stepping machine, but I pressed harder, and it felt like flying...

Life changes again, when another race is on the horizon, after 2 weekends of relaxation. The days just need to get warmer...
